The Craft Station started out, not as a visionary or revolutionary idea, but out of mere necessity. What started as a man just trying to make his wife happy by making sure she had a craft room in the house, evolved into a mobile classroom. The “craft room” got so big we had to make it mobile. So here we are, bringing our craft room to you. They say, “If you love what you do, you will never work a day,” and that is certainly true. My wife, Misty, wanted to take her passion for teaching and for crafting so she combined the two to create The Craft Station. Here you can learn the joy of art, the joy of crafts, or the joy of both. Not to mention, it keeps Misty’s “craft room” from getting any bigger 😉!

Misty and I have lived in Richmond Hill (barring a few Army postings elsewhere) since 2008. Misty retired from the Army in 2021 and we have been here full time since then. We have participated in many of the festivals around the area and some of you may have seen us as Mystical Treasures while out and about.

It is our hope that we can teach you something of value, and that is the simple joy of creative effort. From proudly displaying your own personal home décor, watching your kids explore their own creativity, or just learning something new; The Craft Station is for all of you who aspire to arts and crafts greatness but just may not have the space for your own craft room. Let us share our space with you!
